Staunton Caulfield & Co. were instructed by a client who felt bullied and harassed at work by a superior. The matter had developed to a point where the employee felt unable to continue in that employment and sought medical advice about anxiety issues. Staunton Caulfield & Co. ensured the matter was resolved satisfactorily through mediation, and the employee was able to return to work on agreed terms. Had this not succeeded, Staunton Caulfield & Co. would have represented the client in a claim for Constructive Dismissal before the Workplace Relations Commission – a course of action which we have taken successfully in other cases.
